(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 8, candidates for the 14th National Assembly, constituency No. 2 of Nghe An province and candidates for the Nghe An Provincial People's Council, term 2011 - 2016, constituency No. 11 had a meeting with voters of Nghia Loc and Nghia Long communes, Nghia Dan district to campaign for the election.

Candidates for the National Assembly in constituency No. 2 include Mr. Phan Dinh Trac, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption; Mr. Phan Van Quy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pacific Group Joint Stock Company; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, Deputy Head of the Department of Disease Control, Tan Ky District Medical Center; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao, Doctor of the Tay Bac General Hospital, Nghe An Province; Mr. Moong Van Tinh, official of Que Phong District Youth Union.

Candidates for the Provincial People's Council include Mr. Le Xuan Dai, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Phan Thi Hoan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Business Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu, Head of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Business Party Committee; Ms. Le Thi Vinh, Chairwoman of the Nghia Dan District Labor Federation; Mr. Tran Van Duong, Vice Chairman of the Nghia Dan District Labor Federation.

Voters in Nghia Loc and Nghia Long hope that candidates will pay attention to personnel work, operating budget for specific localities; issues of occupational safety and hygiene, health insurance for workers in enterprises, procedures for issuing health insurance cards, assessing poor households, solving environmental pollution, and giving authority to commune police in patrolling and controlling traffic order and safety.
