Vinh City voters propose to install weight limit signs on roads
(Baonghean.vn)- Voters in Vinh city reported that many roads have not been installed with weight limit and prohibition signs, so the authorities have difficulty in handling the issue. They requested the city government and relevant agencies to pay attention to resolving the issue.
The relevant authorities responded to this issue as follows:

Currently, the routes that have been posted with prohibition signs and accompanying signs are the surrounding routes leading into the city and the main routes of the city, vehicles participating in traffic when wanting to enter the city must go through these routes. However, currently, some sets of signs (posts and signs) on some streets have been lost or damaged due to being broken by cars or being arbitrarily dismantled by people such as Le Loi Street, Vo Nguyen Hien Street, etc.
Some inner-city roads currently do not have traffic restriction signs such as Mac Dinh Chi, Trinh Hoai Duc, Nguyen Tuan Thien, etc. These are all small roads, located within the surrounding roads leading into the city and the main streets of the city. It is unnecessary to have traffic restriction signs on these roads.

In the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee will direct the Vinh City People's Committee to promptly reinstall lost or damaged prohibition signs on a number of roads; at the same time, review and supplement important roads to arrange prohibition signs./.
