Cua Lo: Fire prevention training for grassroots staff

(Baonghean.vn) - On May 11 and 12, at Block 4, Nghi Huong, Cua Lo town, Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department No. 2 (Provincial Fire Prevention and Fighting Police) coordinated to open a training course on fire prevention and fighting.

More than 50 people are members of some grassroots fire prevention teams operating in the fields of administrative affairs, motel and hotel business in Cua Lo Town participating in the training.

During the two-day training, trainees were equipped with a lot of knowledge about fire safety as well as how to handle situations when a fire occurs.

Through the course, students will practice skills and tactics to extinguish a fire, the process of creating and practicing a fire extinguishing plan; introduce fire extinguishing systems, structures, functions, how to preserve and use common fire extinguishing equipment, use powder and gas extinguishers to extinguish newly arising small fires, with available tools such as water-absorbent blankets, fire extinguishers, basic fire fighting formations...
