Cua Lo exploits Chinese tourist market

On average, Cua Lo welcomes 5,000 - 6,000 foreign visitors each year, mainly from Laos and Thailand, and some tourist groups from China have begun to appear.
Identifying China as a potential tourist market, Cua Lo has implemented many solutions to maintain and continue to increase the number of international visitors such as participating in promotional activities in 4 major cities in China, working with and inviting partner businesses and large corporations to survey and build more accommodation facilities to increase the number of rooms for the 2018 summer tourist season.
With these efforts, initially there have been a number of tourist groups coming to visit with short stays and in small groups, typically the Angel Group tourist group to Cua Lo at the beginning of this year. In addition, there are currently a number of Chinese enterprises continuing to raise the issue of opening tours to Cua Lo in the near future.

However, to develop this market, accommodation facilities, entertainment venues, places selling typical tourism products... must be calculated to ensure a large enough scale."
To proactively welcome this new tourist market, Cua Lo is actively implementing a number of contents such as: organizing roadshow programs to introduce tourism in Jiangsu and Kunming provinces - China in May or June; in addition to the inner-city tours, continuing to build tours connecting with other provinces and cities.
