In Ky Son commune, the mixed livestock farm of Mr. Tran Dinh Van's family in Dien Luc hamlet invested in raising 60 wild boars, 30 goats and 10 ostriches to prepare for sale on the occasion of Dinh Dau Lunar New Year. Mr. Van said that these are easy-to-raise animals, with very simple food, mainly grass, forest leaves, corn, cassava, so the quality of the meat is guaranteed.

With a total herd of 765,000 poultry, 49,000 pigs, 22,000 goats and 47,800 cattle, Tan Ky district is ready with an abundant source of food to serve the Tet market. The district's departments have stepped up guidance for livestock farmers to practice good environmental hygiene, strengthen disease control, and ensure food safety for consumers.
