(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 11, at the People's Committee of Dong Thanh commune, candidates for the 14th National Assembly, constituency No. 3 and candidates for the Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term, constituency No. 5 had a meeting with voters of the communes: Phuc Thanh, Tang Thanh, Hoa Thanh, Nhan Thanh, Van Thanh, Hop Thanh, Phu Thanh, Dai Thanh and tYen Thanh town

Candidates for the 14th National Assembly in constituency No. 3 include Mr. Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Sy Hoi - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4; Hoang Thi Thu Trang - Deputy Director of the Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Department; Nguyen Van Cong - Deputy Head of the Department, Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Department; Nguyen Manh Ha - Chief Inspector of the Department of Science & Technology.

Candidates for the Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term in constituency No. 5 include Mr. and Mrs. Le Ba Hung - Provincial Party Committee member, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Van De - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Yen Thanh District Party Committee; Pham Thi Binh - Lecturer of Philosophy, Faculty of Political Education, Vinh University; Tran Van Duong - Officer of the District Party Committee Office; Vuong Thi Giang - Expert of Nghe An Women's Union; Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa - Vice President of Nghe An Women's Union; Thai Van Thanh - Vice Principal of Vinh University.

Candidates for the National Assembly and People's Council attended the meeting and election campaign.

At the meeting, voters heard information about the biography and action programs of each candidate.

The content of the action programs focuses on issues that voters are interested in such as: administrative reform, building a friendly, effective, modern administration, employment for students after graduation, anti-corruption, fighting against counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, trade fraud; food safety and hygiene, environmental pollution; infrastructure construction, calling for investment, promoting production, especially high-tech agricultural production, thereby increasing production value and income for farmers.

In the spirit of democracy, voters' opinions show trust and expectations in the candidates' action programs.

Contributing his opinion at the meeting, voter Vu Anh Cu of Yen Thanh town hoped that candidates, when becoming representatives, would have a voice and contribute to the forums of the National Assembly and the People's Council. If they attend meetings just to listen to one side, they cannot be said to represent the thoughts and feelings of voters.

In addition, voters of Yen Thanh district also expressed some thoughts and wishes related to the socio-economic situation of the district. The district needs to continue implementing clean water projects, at least unfinished projects; the early retirement age of the police and military sectors leads to a burden on the salary fund; the regime for grassroots cadres is too low...
