Nghe An Provincial People's Council delegates meet voters of Tuong Duong district
At the conference, representatives of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council Delegation informed voters about the expected content and agenda of the mid-2025 Provincial People's Council session; voters spoke and proposed many practical contents.
On May 21, the Provincial People's Council delegates including Mr. Nguyen Van Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Mr. Le Van Luong - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of Tuong Duong District Party Committee; Mr. Cao Tien Trung - Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council had a meeting with voters before the regular mid-year session of 2025, the 18th Provincial People's Council in Tam Quang commune, Tuong Duong district.
At the conference, representatives of the Provincial People's Council Delegation informed voters about the expected content and agenda of the mid-year 2025 Provincial People's Council session, scheduled to take place from July 9-10, 2025. The session will consider 27 reports and is expected to pass 17 important resolutions related to socio-economic development, national defense - security and people's livelihood issues of the province. The delegation also briefly reported on the socio-economic situation of the province in the first 5 months of 2025 and the results of resolving voters' petitions of Tuong Duong district at the end-of-year 2024 session.
At the conference, 7 voters from Tam Quang commune spoke and made many practical recommendations such as: upgrading the Tam Bong irrigation dam, building the Na Pun canal, repairing damaged water pumping stations in the area; investing in upgrading the road from Mo village (Tam Quang commune, Tuong Duong district) to Lang Khe commune (Con Cuong district); building rural roads; refunding money for building power lines to people; repairing power grid infrastructure to ensure safety during the rainy and stormy season; controlling ore-carrying vehicles that cause traffic insecurity and environmental pollution; checking for counterfeit goods; attracting investment in weighing stations in the area; arranging jobs for officials after the commune merger...
On behalf of the Provincial People's Council Delegation, Mr. Nguyen Van Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and Mr. Le Van Luong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Tuong Duong District Party Committee, directly explained a number of contents that voters were interested in, including: the construction of vehicle load control weighing stations; refunding funds voluntarily contributed by people when building the power grid; investing in drainage systems along roads; strengthening control and handling of counterfeit and fake goods; the arrangement of commune-level administrative units; social subsidy policies for the elderly...
The delegates requested the District People's Committee, the Commune People's Committees and Tuong Duong Electricity to pay attention to, promptly consider and resolve voters' recommendations according to their authority. For issues that cannot be handled immediately, they should be compiled and transferred to the new government after the commune merger for further consideration and resolution.
At the same time, the Provincial People's Council Delegation also affirmed that it will fully synthesize voters' legitimate opinions and recommendations to report at the upcoming Provincial People's Council meeting, and at the same time forward them to competent authorities for consideration and settlement according to regulations, in order to ensure the legitimate rights and meet the legitimate aspirations of the people.
