Early this morning (September 1), right after the draw ceremony for the 2023-2024 Champions League group stage ended, the European Football Federation (UEFA) also announced the best individual awards of the season. Vietnamese sports participate in 31/40 sports of ASIAD 19
On August 31, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism approved the decision to establish the Vietnamese Sports Delegation to attend the 19th ASIAD-2022 in Hangzhou (China). Accordingly, the delegation consists of 504 members, including 337 athletes, competing in 31/40 sports of the Games.
The head of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation attending the 19th ASIAD is the Director of the Department of Sports and Physical Training – Mr. Dang Ha Viet. In addition, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation has Deputy Heads of Delegation, Mr. Hoang Quoc Vinh and Mr. Ngo Ich Quan.

At the 19th ASIAD, Vietnam sports also has 22 team leaders, 11 experts and 90 coaches. Currently, the U23 men's football and women's football do not have an official list of players and the list will be decided by the coaching staff right before the members leave for Hangzhou (China).
It is expected that the main force of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation will move to Hangzhou (China) on September 20, 3 days before the opening ceremony of the Congress.
