According to a reputable source, Dong A Thanh Hoa Club has successfully recruited midfielder Damoth Thongkhamsavath - a Lao national player. The 21-year-old midfielder will also be the first Lao player in history to compete in the V-League.

Damoth Thongkhamsavath was allowed to play as a foreign player of Vietnamese origin, similar to the cases of Adou Minh and Jason Quang Vinh.

There are 3 voting categories in the program including: Most Favorite Athlete, Most Favorite Sports Team and Most Favorite Football Player. In which, the categories "Most Favorite Athlete" and "Most Favorite Sports Team" are based on the list of the 2024 national vote for outstanding athletes and coaches. The category "Most Favorite Football Player" is for Vietnamese players who contributed to the championship of the 2024 ASEAN Cup.

According to experts, striker Nguyen Xuan Son, Vietnam Golden Ball 2024 Nguyen Tien Linh, Hoang Duc, Tuan Hai... are strong candidates in the vote. Voting time takes place from 0:00 on March 13 to 23:59 on March 19. The most outstanding sports faces will be honored on the morning of March 22 in the program Vietnam Sports Glory 2024.

Cambodia team finalizes list of 23 players for friendly match with Vietnam
