Vinh Medical University lowers admission standards from 0.5 - 2 points

(Baonghean.vn) - Vinh Medical University has just announced the additional admission scores for the 2016 school year. This year, most majors have decreased by 0.5 - 2 points.

Accordingly, for the university system: General medicine, the additional admission score is 23 points, a decrease of 0.5 points compared to the NV1 admission score. Preventive medicine, the benchmark score is 19 points (a decrease of 2 points). Nursing bachelor's degree is 17.5 points (a decrease of 1.5 points). Public health and testing bachelor's degree benchmark scores remain the same, equal to the threshold score set by the Ministry of Education and Training at 15 points.

For college majors, the admission score for the second choice is still 10 points for 4 majors: nursing college, midwifery college, medical technology college, and medical testing college. For pharmacy college, the standard score is 18 points.

According to the plan, Vinh Medical University will receive the certificate of National High School Exam results before 5:00 p.m. on September 9. If candidates have the same score, the priority order will be according to Biology and Chemistry.

Previously, Vinh University announced additional enrollment of 422/1275 students for the 2016-2017 school year. The major with the highest additional enrollment target is nursing college with 150 students. The admission score for the 2016 school year is also 1 - 2.5 points lower than previous years.
