Congress of Delegates of Nghe An Power Company Party Committee for the term 2020 - 2025

On the morning of May 29, the Party Committee of Nghe An Electricity Company held the 30th Congress of Delegates, term 2020 - 2025.

Complete the targets and tasks well

The Nghe An Power Company Party Committee has 551 party members, operating in 35 party cells. In the 2015 - 2020 term, the Company's Party Committee has had many specific policies and measures, proactively overcoming difficulties and challenges to comprehensively complete the annual production and business plan, and the growth rate of the targets achieved compared to the Resolution of the 19th Party Congress.

Notably, revenue in 2019 increased by 97.2% compared to 2015, an average increase of 19.5%; commercial electricity in 2019 increased by 78.5% compared to 2015, an average increase of 15.1%; loss ratio in 2019 decreased by 1.65% compared to 2015.

Workers' lives are stable, 100% of workers have regular jobs; the company completes targets for paying the state budget, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance.

Over the years, the power grid has been continuously improved, the quality of electricity has been improved, the operation of the power grid has been relatively good, ensuring continuous, safe and quality power supply. The company focuses on ensuring labor safety and has been commended by the Corporation.

Every year, the Company has developed and issued plans to launch emulation movements to implement corporate culture; innovate techniques, improve production and business efficiency; and effectively implement the 5S model to create a scientific, clean and tidy working environment, thereby improving productivity, work efficiency, and minimizing waste.

The Party Committee focuses on improving the quality of Party organizations' activities to meet the requirements of the new situation; reorganizing, consolidating, and perfecting the organization to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party cells and the quality of Party members.

In addition, the Party Committee focuses on building a team of qualified, competent and prestigious cadres with high skills to meet the needs of production and business development. Party building work is strengthened, continued to be consolidated and promoted, the activities of mass organizations have many innovations and creativity, and the work of developing party members is focused on.

During the past term, the Party Committee of Nghe An Power Company paid attention to implementing social security work well with many practical and meaningful activities such as taking care of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, building 3 gratitude houses, building 3 houses for cadres and employees in difficult circumstances; actively participating in programs launched by all levels and sectors with a total amount of more than 1.3 billion VND.

Promoting the role of party organizations

The Congress discussed and agreed on the general goal of the 2020 - 2025 term of the Nghe An Power Company Party Committee, which is to continue to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee and Party cells; innovate the content and methods of operation, promote democracy, discipline, solidarity, cultural environment, carry out effective production and business, and excellently complete the targets.

Ensure employment, life and policies for workers; maintain national defense - security, labor safety, actively participate in social security activities; fulfill state budget obligations; continue to maintain the title of exemplary strong and clean Party organization, strong unions.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Thai Khac Thu - Secretary of the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Party Committee of the Electricity Company in the term 2015 - 2020.

Emphasizing that Nghe An is a province that often experiences natural disasters, storms and floods, which have a significant impact on the production and business of the Electricity industry, while the electricity demand of businesses and people is increasing, the Secretary of the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee suggested that in the coming time, the Company needs to propose effective strategies and solutions to continue improving production and business efficiency.

The Party Committee needs to continue to take care of training staff to improve their skills and professional qualifications to meet practical requirements in the new situation.

The Congress elected the Party Committee of Nghe An Power Company for the XXX term, 2020 - 2025, consisting of 15 comrades. At the first meeting of the Party Committee of Nghe An Power Company, comrade Bang Hong Hien - Director of Nghe An Power Company was elected to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary.

The congress elected a delegation to attend the 6th Provincial Business Bloc Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, including 7 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate.

Main targets by 2025:

-Total revenue (2020 is 6,970.08 billion VND), growth rate 11-13%

- Provincial budget contribution increased by 2-3%

-Outside provincial budget payment increased by 2-3%

-Commercial electricity increased from 9-11%

-Company-wide loss ratio decreased by 0.2-0.4%

-Electricity revenue increased by 11-13%

-Strive to achieve the title of exemplary Party cell every year.
