In the 2015 - 2020 term, the Dien Thap Commune Party Committee promoted the spirit of solidarity and leadership to successfully complete the targets set out in the resolution of the Commune Party Congress. The economic structure shifted in the right direction with an average growth rate of 11.3% over the past 5 years. The average income per capita reached 57.4 million VND/person/year, the poverty rate decreased to 0.88%.

After reaching the new rural commune finish line, the commune continued to improve and improve the criteria, building 21 works with over 96.2 billion VND. Budget revenue in 2019 reached 14.4 billion VND. The cultural and social fields have many improvements, during the term of building 3 hamlets and units achieving cultural titles, the rate of cultural families reached 85%.

The secondary school meets national standards, the commune creates new jobs for 650 workers. National defense and security are ensured. The Party Committee has admitted 26 new members, 116 comrades have been awarded or posthumously awarded the Party badge.

In the coming term, Dien Thap Party Committee determines to develop trade services as a lever for economic development. Improve the quality of trade services, attract investment to build new trade and service centers; develop trade and services along provincial road 538C; encourage people to actively promote the advantage of labor export, to solve employment, increase income and reinvest in local production.

At the same time, focus on developing sustainable agricultural and livestock production, planning production areas to convert crops; mobilizing people to accumulate land, transfer or lease to develop farm and family economy in the direction of goods, minimizing the abandonment of agricultural land.

Implement administrative reform well, gradually synchronize and complete the system of facilities and infrastructure. Prioritize development and care for education work in conjunction with implementing social security work well in the area. Improve the material and spiritual life of the people, do a good job of the military rear to ensure national defense and security, and maintain the great national unity bloc.

At the Congress, the Party members unanimously voted to approve the directions, tasks, and solutions to successfully implement the targets set by the Congress. In particular, striving for an economic growth rate of 8-9%, average income per capita reaching 82 million VND/year; striving for a model new rural commune by 2025. 100% of schools meeting national standards, 100% of hamlets achieving cultural titles, 85% of families meeting cultural standards; Admitting 10-11 Party members each year, Party Committees, Fatherland Fronts, and mass organizations fulfilling their tasks well or better.

In the spirit of solidarity and democracy, the delegates voted to elect 15 comrades to the Party Executive Committee of the commune. Comrade Ngo Van Hieu was elected to hold the position of Party Secretary; Comrade Ngo Thi Huong was elected to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Dien Thap commune, term 2020-2025. The congress also elected a delegation to attend the higher-level congress.
