In the 2015 - 2020 term, the Party Committee and people of Dien Tan commune have united and strived to achieve and exceed many targets of the Congress Resolution. The economy has developed and shifted towards reducing the proportion of agriculture, gradually increasing the proportion of trade services, small-scale industry, and construction; The average growth rate reached 11%; The total estimated production value in 2020 is 296 billion VND.

Average income per capita in 2020 is estimated at 35 million VND/year, an increase of 15.6 million VND compared to the beginning of the term. New Rural Construction has many improvements, the commune has mobilized over 13.6 billion VND to build infrastructure, so far achieving 17/19 criteria. In the cultural and social field, 9/9 villages have spacious cultural houses, meeting the community living needs of the people. The rate of cultural families annually reaches 80%.

It is expected that in 2020, the Kindergarten will meet the National Standard Level 1. The poverty rate will decrease to 1.13%. Political security, order and social safety will always be ensured. Party building work has achieved many results. During the term, the Party Committee established 2 new Party cells. Up to now, the whole commune has 13 Party cells. The rate of Party members completing their tasks well or better every year is 80%. The Party Committee is annually classified as completing its tasks well.

At the Congress, delegates also focused on discussing solutions to implement the goals and tasks for the 2020-2025 term. In the coming term, the Dien Tan Commune Party Committee strives to complete 28 targets in all areas, with an annual economic growth rate of 11-12%; Average income per capita by 2025 is 55-60 million VND/person/year; the rate of cultural families annually reaches 80-85%. The Party Committee achieves "Completing the task well" or higher. In 2020, the commune strives to reach the new rural commune finish line.
