Party Congress of Nam Anh Commune, Nam Dan District, term 2020-2025

On the morning of May 15, the Party Committee of Nam Anh commune (Nam Dan district) held the 32nd Congress of Delegates for the 2020-2025 term. This is the first commune-level congress unit of Nam Dan district.

15/17 targets achieved and exceeded

The Political Report presented at the Congress affirmed that in the 2015-2020 term, despite many difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee and people in the commune have united, made great efforts and achieved important and comprehensive achievements in all fields.

15/17 main socio-economic targets were achieved and exceeded compared to the targets set by the Resolution of the 31st Party Congress.

Notably, the economy has grown quite well, with an average economic growth rate of 9% over the past 5 years. The total production value in 2019 reached 436,216.7 million VND, with an average growth rate of 9.9%. The average income per capita was 55.3 million VND.

Nam Anh Commune is the leading unit in the district to successfully build a high-tech agricultural model (9.2 hectares). Of which, 3 are closed greenhouse models from production - processing - consumption.

In addition to maintaining a stable vegetable area of ​​465 hectares, attention has been paid to developing a number of crops with high economic value such as lily, eggplant, squash, bitter melon, sweet melon, etc. The farm economy has been gradually formed and developed. There are many farms with good economic income, of which 4 farms meet the criteria.

Up to now, there have been many products with brands and geographical indications such as tapioca starch, Sa Nam soy sauce, and Sa Nam soy sauce alone has achieved 4 stars under the OCOP program.

The new rural construction program has received strong leadership and direction. The mobilization of resources to implement the program has achieved good results. The total mobilized budget from the whole society is 529,682 million VND. Of which, 43,062.5 million VND is for infrastructure construction.

Building a model new rural commune

In the construction of advanced new rural areas (NTM), model NTM, the commune has focused on implementing good planning and good management according to approved planning. The traffic system has been hardened with 33,754/35,87 km of hamlet roads reaching 94.1%, and 14,413/15,7 km of commune roads reaching 92.3%.

Cultural facilities have been gradually invested and renovated. New schools and medical stations have been invested in and built. The project to build a "Bright-green-clean-beautiful" hamlet has been focused on and improved. The whole commune has built 23.6km of flower roads and flower alleys; 5 propaganda clusters, 836 family flagpoles.

National defense and security are maintained, social order and safety are ensured; income and material and spiritual life of the people are improved. Social policy beneficiaries, the poor and near-poor are cared for, the poverty rate has decreased to 1.5% (lower than the general rate of the district).

The role and capacity of leadership and management of Party committees, authorities, and cadres of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations have many innovations; building a united bloc within the Party, democracy has been promoted. The political system continues to be consolidated and built increasingly stronger. Creating consensus, excitement and trust among the people, creating positive motivation for labor production and building new rural areas.

Nam Anh's position is increasingly affirmed, in the past 2 years it has become one of the leading units of Nam Dan district.

In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Nam Anh Commune Party Committee set out the general goal: Strengthening the building of a clean and strong Party, improving the leadership and fighting capacity of the Party, building a strong political system. Promoting the strength of the entire people, improving the material and spiritual life of the people. Comprehensively and synchronously promoting the innovation process; developing the economy rapidly and sustainably, successfully building a model new rural commune in culture associated with tourism.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Secretary of Nam Dan District Party Committee acknowledged, praised and congratulated the achievements that the Party Committee and people of Nam Anh have achieved in the past term.

Pointing out the limitations that Nam Anh needs to overcome and the development orientation in the next term, comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa emphasized that according to the orientation of Nam Dan district and the goal of the congress, the commune strives to achieve the model new rural standard in culture associated with tourism by 2025.

Therefore, it requires the Party Committee to focus on leadership to complete the criteria to become a model new rural commune.

At the same time, the Party Committee must promote internal strength, utilize and exploit the maximum potential and advantages of the locality; mobilize and use all resources to the maximum. Along with that, actively take advantage of external resources... to build Nam Anh commune to become increasingly developed and strong.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Nam Anh commune for the 2020-2025 term, consisting of 14 comrades; at the first meeting, the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Nam Anh commune, term XXXII, term 2020-2025, elected comrade Ho Viet Hoang to continue as Secretary of the Party Committee of Nam Anh commune.

The congress elected a delegation to attend the Nam Dan District Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.
