Vietnamese Embassy in Japan opens hotline to support citizens
Three hotlines have been opened to receive information related to the situation of Vietnamese citizens in order to provide timely support and emergency assistance.
Regarding the earthquake in Japan in recent days, on April 16, Spokesperson of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Le Hai Binh said:

“We sincerely share the enormous loss of life and property that the Japanese Government and people are suffering from the recent earthquakes.
We would like to send our condolences to the families of the victims and strongly believe that with their efforts and will, the Japanese Government and people will soon overcome this difficult time to stabilize the situation."
Regarding information related to Vietnamese citizens affected by the earthquakes, Spokesperson of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Le Hai Binh affirmed:
“According to information from the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan and the Vietnamese Consulate General in Fukuoka, so far there has been no information about Vietnamese people being victims of the earthquakes.
Vietnamese representative agencies in Japan are continuing to closely coordinate with local authorities to grasp the situation and develop specific support plans if any Vietnamese citizens are affected.
At the same time, the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan and the Vietnamese Consulate General in Japan have opened three hotlines.(+81) 80 3590 9136(Embassy hotline number) and(+81) 80 3984 6668 and (+81) 80 3904 0198to receive information related to the situation of Vietnamese citizens in order to provide timely support and emergency assistance"./.
