(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 6, National Assembly delegates: Le Quang Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Huu Cau - Director of the Provincial Police, had a meeting with voters of Duc Son and Vinh Son communes, in Duc Son commune, Anh Son district.

Opening the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Quang Huy informed voters of the expected agenda and working content of the 4th Session of the 14th National Assembly; and announced the results of receiving and handling petitions of Anh Son district voters during the recent meetings of National Assembly deputies with voters.

Before voters expressed their opinions, the representative of the Fatherland Front of Anh Son district reported on the summary of voters' recommendations that had been reflected to the District People's Council, including contents related to payment of compensation costs for the left bank road of Lam River through the district; installation of barriers, repair of landslides, and construction of bridges on this route.

In addition, voters of Anh Son district also proposed that a survey of particularly difficult villages and hamlets should be considered each year; the social insurance regime for demobilized and discharged soldiers is not reasonable...

Voters also expressed their concern for the Party and State's anti-corruption work, suggesting that this work should be promoted at all levels and sectors and that inspections on the implementation of the State's policies for people with revolutionary contributions be stepped up; and that the Government should have specific regulations on the activities of associations. Voters also suggested that the State pay attention to policies for retired cadres and that the State should invest in school facilities to reduce contributions to the people.

Voter Ha Xuan Hung, village 17, Duc Son commune, requested that all levels and sectors support the construction of a bridge for people in village 17; and reported the abuse of socialization to mobilize people to contribute a lot. Mr. Nguyen Van Loan, village 1, Duc Son commune, requested to lower the age limit for receiving subsidies for the elderly to 75 years old.

Some voters reported that the power grid system is in a state of disrepair and needs to be repaired; some policies for people with meritorious services and former youth volunteers have not been implemented in a timely manner; inadequacies in the treatment of household waste; disease prevention in livestock and slaughter and consumption are still lax; sand and gravel mining along the Lam River causes riverbank erosion...

The conference had 21 opinions with 50 contents proposed by voters, delegate Nguyen Huu Cau accepted and answered 6 contents related to the responsibility of National Assembly delegates. Regarding the proposal to issue regulations on the activities of associations, the Provincial Police Director said that there are currently more than 150 reactionary groups operating to oppose the Party and the State, so the construction of the law on associations needs to be carefully considered and currently the National Assembly is investigating, researching and drafting the law to ensure effectiveness when promulgated.

In response to many comments from the people, the Provincial Police Director acknowledged the voters' interest in building the government and in the leadership and management of the government at all levels; at the same time, he requested that leaders of Anh Son district at all levels increase contact and dialogue with the people; strengthen the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations as well as mass mobilization work to create consensus and unanimity among cadres and people to successfully complete their tasks and meet the people's expectations./.
