Warm 'Tet Sum Vay' in Cua Lo town

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 19, at the Political Training Center of Cua Lo town, the Provincial Labor Federation organized the program "Reunion Tet - Peaceful Spring" for union members and workers working in Cua Lo town.

Attending the program were comrade Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; along with representatives of the Cua Lo City Party Committee, agencies, units, enterprises and union members, and workers with difficult circumstances in the area.

With the determination to not let any union member or worker go without Tet, for over a month, the Town Labor Federation has directly worked with businesses, checking on workers in difficult circumstances to care for and support them.

As one of the recipients of the gift from the trade union, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuong, receptionist of Nghe An Tourism and Trade One Member Co., Ltd. shared: “Due to the impact of the epidemic, hotel and tourism restaurant activities in Cua Lo town are almost closed. The life, work and income of our company's employees are very difficult. The meaningful gift that the trade union organization gives as Tet is approaching, helps my family have a more prosperous and warm Tet”.

The Tet Sum Vay program not only brings meaningful gifts, but also creates a joyful and exciting atmosphere with puzzle games with prizes on the theme of Tet and Spring; organizes lucky draw games. Each correct answer will receive a lucky money gift worth 100,000 VND from the Organizing Committee.

Speaking at the program, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor Kha Van Tam emphasized: "In 2021, the epidemic has greatly affected the lives and jobs of union members and workers as well as the activities of the Trade Union organization. Sharing those difficulties, trade unions at all levels in the province always make efforts, try, and mobilize resources to encourage and share with workers. Although the gifts are not of great value, they contain the great affection of the Trade Union organization with the wish that all union members and workers have a Tet holiday."
