At 6:40 a.m., a long refrigerated truck of Son Anh with license plate 29C - 046.23 was traveling on National Highway 1A in the North-South direction. When it reached the Yen Ly bridge, it collided head-on with a truck with license plate 37N - 7459 while it was traveling in the opposite direction and had just turned onto the road to go to Dien Yen inter-commune road.
