Stabbed ex-wife to death then committed suicide

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 8, Mr. Pham Phu Thanh - Head of Nghia Son Commune Police, Nghia Dan District said: a murder case had just occurred in the area, causing the wife to die and the husband to be seriously injured.

On the evening of October 7, Huynh Trung Tu (born in 1989), residing in Quy Hop district, Nghe An, brought a knife to the house of his ex-wife, Tang Thi Hien (born in 1995), residing in Son Bac hamlet, Nghia Son commune, Nghia Dan district. As soon as Hien opened the door, Tu used a knife he had hidden on his person to control her, stabbing her repeatedly in the chest, causing her to collapse on the spot.

After committing the crime, Tu used a knife to stab himself in the stomach and chest to commit suicide.

Due to severe injuries, Ms. Hien died shortly thereafter, while Tu was transferred to Nghe An General Hospital in critical condition.

Upon receiving the news, the Nghia Son commune authorities and Nghia Dan district police quickly arrived to make a record and conduct a crime scene investigation and autopsy to investigate the murder case.

According to the victim’s family, Tu and Hien got married over a year ago and now have an 8-month-old daughter. However, because of frequent conflicts and arguments between the two, they decided to divorce. After the divorce, Tu tried many times to reconcile to keep the marriage but failed./.
