Sharing about her journey to becoming a weather reporter, MC Dan Le said: “At that time, I was a second-year student at the Academy of Journalism and Propaganda. I applied with the mindset of a student, very eager, looking forward to trying out a new job, a dream workplace for all journalism students at that time.

At that time, no one had any idea what a weather presenter looked like or what they would do. The audition process took a long time. At first, there were dozens of people, after a year there were only 10 people left, and after a final screening, only 4 people went on air. I was the first one to go on air. Now, I haven’t been a weather presenter for nearly 10 years, but the audience still remembers me as the “weather girl”.

At the height of her career, Dan Le was suspected of being the main character in a scandal of distributing sensitive photos, forcing her to quit her job. She confided about the not-so-peaceful years in the past: “There were many years when I always felt that the person in front of me had a different opinion about me. I was the one who submitted the resignation letter. Actually, it doesn’t matter who decided to quit. What matters is that I had to stop that path. That is one of the biggest regrets of my life.”

After quitting her job, MC Dan Le decided to move to another TV station and officially filed a lawsuit against the newspaper that had associated her image with a sensitive scandal that caused a stir in public opinion. She said: “I have been to two very large and famous law firms in Hanoi. Everyone gave me an answer that there has never been a precedent for an individual suing a newspaper. Finally, I went to the law firm and met a female lawyer. She agreed to stand up and defend my honor. It took me a long time to sue that newspaper, and as a result, they had to correct and apologize to me.”

Although she gave up her job as a weather MC, Dan Le was still full of passion and love for this job. She still “had feelings for storms and was moved by floods”, but at that time, giving up her dreams and plans to preserve her honor was considered necessary and really important.

When I received the script, I wasn't worried, I just liked it so much. But on the first day on set, I felt really nervous, because suddenly, the person sitting outside controlling was my husband. He was always strict with me, always giving me a lower score than what I thought in my head. One day of filming, I felt bad and approached him and asked: "I wonder how many points I got today?". He said: "Give me 2 points, go back to your seat!" - MC Dan Le humorously shared about the strictness of director Khai Anh.

When asked about her partner who is considered a playboy, MC Dan Le frankly shared that she always trusts him and their love. The actress of “Three weddings, one husband’s life” said: “I think that in love or any relationship, we come together because of compatibility, feeling that the other person is worthy of being attached to. That is the most important thing in relationships, especially in marriage. I only love someone when I realize that person is worthy of my love. I am satisfied with my current life.”
