Attending the ceremony were representatives of leaders of departments, branches, localities and tourism businesses in the province; the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province, representatives of the Nguyen Sinh and Hoang families in Kim Lien, along with a large number of people and tourists who attended the ceremony.
Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, President Ho Chi Minh's mother, was the mother who gave birth to and raised outstanding children for the country: Nguyen Sinh Khiem, Nguyen Thi Thanh, Nguyen Sinh Cung - President Ho Chi Minh - National liberation hero, outstanding cultural celebrity.

To pay tribute to Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, every year, Nghe An Tourism Association organizes the Banh Chung Offering Ceremony on the 6th day of the first lunar month. This is the 8th consecutive year that the Banh Chung Offering Ceremony has been held. |

This activity is a noble gesture with the meaning of educating the tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source” for the young generation, at the same time contributing to propagating and promoting the beautiful image of the country and people of Nghe An; encouraging and promoting Nghe An tourism to develop more and more. |

This year's Banh Chung offering ceremony has 5 parts, including: Banh Chung cooking contest and Banh Chung display; Banh Chung procession from Vinh city to the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan in Dai Hue mountain, Nam Giang commune, Nam Dan district; incense offering, flower offering and Banh Chung offering ceremony; receiving blessings from local people and tourists; planting trees at the beginning of the year and launching tourism movements in 2020 at Kim Lien relic site. |
