The police of District 9, Ho Chi Minh City are currently detaining suspect Ho Thi Ngoc Diep (born in 1964, residing on Nam Cao Street, Tan Phu Ward, District 9) to investigate and clarify her act of using rat poison, intending to harm many people. Because the case was discovered quickly, Ms. Diep's intention was unsuccessful.
It is known that Ms. Tran Thi Bach Tuyet (born in 1979) sells Hue beef noodle soup and crab noodle soup right in front of house number 73D Nam Cao street, Tan Phu ward, district 9. Ms. Diep also sells breakfast nearby. Ms. Tuyet and Ms. Diep are related to each other.
Early morning on December 25, Ms. Tuyet set up shop to sell. When Ms. Tuyet entered the house, Ms. Diep secretly approached her pot of broth and put a strange object inside.

However, Ms. Diep's behavior was recorded by Ms. Tuyet's family security camera, at the same time someone was sitting in front of the monitor watching.
Immediately after discovering the incident, at 5:30 a.m. on December 25, Ms. Tuyet reported it to the police. Upon receiving this information, District 9 Police coordinated with Tan Phu Ward Police to conduct an investigation of the scene and took water samples from the pot for testing. The police also detained Ms. Diep for investigation.
Initially, Ms. Diep admitted to putting rat poison in Ms. Tuyet’s noodle soup to harm her. Ms. Diep also stated that the reason for her harm was a land dispute.
Currently, District 9 police are expanding the investigation./.
