The accident occurred at 9:30 a.m. on May 7 in Quynh Hau commune, Quynh Luu district.

At the above time, an old man about 70 years old (identity unknown) was driving a motorbike with license plate 37L8 - 1941 from an alley to the intersection of Hamlet 4, Quynh Hau - Quynh Doi inter-commune road, when he was suddenly hit by a truck with license plate 37C- 042.46.

The strong collision caused the person and motorbike to be trapped under the truck. The victim suffered a head injury and is in critical condition. Upon discovering the incident, people living on both sides of the road quickly took the victim to the hospital for emergency treatment.

After the accident, Quynh Hau Commune Police and Quynh Luu District Traffic Police were present at the scene to measure and investigate the cause of the accident./.
