On September 24, Tan Phu District Police are completing the case file to prosecute Nguyen Duc Duy (from Hai Phong) for "resisting a person on official duty".

Previously, at around 9:00 a.m. on September 22, the interdisciplinary working group of Tay Thanh ward, Tan Phu district, Ho Chi Minh City launched a campaign to handle the act of encroachment on sidewalks and roads.

At the parking lot of Tay Thanh apartment building, the working group discovered that the parking lot encroached on the sidewalk for parking, so they made a record to handle the act of "occupying the urban roadside or sidewalk less than 5 meters wide for parking".

The parking lot representative, Ha Duy Tam (from Hung Yen), agreed to sign the administrative penalty record.

While the working group was making a record, Duy appeared and asked the working group to only give a warning, not to make a record of punishment.

Not getting permission, Duy cursed and insulted the inspection team and pulled out his belt to attack Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Phu Cuong (Local Police, member of the working group). The working group restrained Duy and handed him over to Tan Phu District Police for handling.
