Thieves ask victims to bring money to redeem motorbike
Unable to sell his friend's stolen car, Phuoc called and asked for 7 million VND to return the property.
On January 18, Hue City Police (Thua Thien - Hue) announced that they had arrested Son Thanh Phuoc (22 years old, residing in Hoa Binh district, Bac Lieu province) to investigate the act of property theft.

Two weeks ago, Phuoc traveled from Bac Lieu to Hue to visit his friend Tran Van Thuan (25 years old, living in Hue) who he met on social media. While staying at Thuan's house, Phuoc stole an Airbalade and sold it.
Because the car had no papers, Phuoc could not sell it.should call and text Mr. Thuan to ask for 7 million VND to redeem.
Receiving the victim's report, Hue police arrested Phuoc while receiving the ransom.
