Speeding up the progress of the Sports and Eco-Urban Area Project in Vinh City

The project of Sports and Ecological Urban Complex in Nghi Phu Commune, Vinh City was approved for investment by the Provincial People's Committee in 2014. The project has a total area of ​​6.5 hectares, invested by Cua Lo Sea Golf Joint Stock Company, with a total investment capital of 300 billion VND.

Up to this point, the investor has completed the extraction and measurement of the cadastral map, and the placement of markers in the project area. According to the plan, the compensation for site clearance will be divided into 2 phases: phase 1 compensation for agricultural land; phase 2 compensation for site clearance related to residential land and other assets.

At the meeting, the project investor proposed that the province should have a solution to arrange on-site resettlement for about 20 households with a total area of ​​about 10,000m2; and partially adjust the planning for the project's functional area.

Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien emphasized that investment in project construction is necessary, contributing to the socio-economic development of the local core area; creating favorable conditions for Cua Lo golf course to operate. However, the project is currently facing difficulties related to site clearance and traffic infrastructure. Investors need to calculate and adjust the project planning to limit resettlement to ensure efficiency and investment capacity. After completing the planning in June 2016, local authorities, related sectors, and investors will coordinate to speed up site clearance.

Regarding agricultural land prices, the City People's Committee and related sectors will calculate and balance appropriately; in July, set compensation prices; strive to complete land acquisition and clearance for rice fields by August 30, 2016; and compensate for land acquisition and clearance related to residential land by the end of the year.
