Speed up the resolution of complex and lengthy cases

After the representative of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee reported on the security, order and social safety situation in the province and the developments of various types of crimes that occurred in July, representatives of departments and branches reported, discussed and analyzed the situation, handling results and proposed solutions to resolve them, especially complicated and prolonged cases.
Typical cases include compensation and site clearance for the National Highway 1A upgrading project in Nghi Loc, Dien Chau, Quynh Luu, Hoang Mai town; cases related to Minh Khang Company Limited; deforestation in Nam Can commune, Ky Son district; resettlement of households related to the Vinh Citadel moat upgrading project, etc.
The conference also stated that the current situation of denunciations and complaints at the commune level is on the rise; the situation of prolonged complaints at the district and provincial levels is still happening despite many dialogues, responses, and resolutions by all levels and sectors... Therefore, it is recommended that departments, sectors, and functional agencies pay attention to this work, speed up the progress of resolving it, in which it is necessary to focus on propaganda work, raising awareness of policies and laws for the people.

Previously, the assessment of the crime situation in the province in July showed that 78 cases of crimes against social order were detected in the month, killing 5 people, injuring 27 people, and causing property damage of nearly 1.7 billion VND (down 1 case, up 2 deaths compared to the previous month). The authorities investigated and clarified 67/78 cases, reaching 85%.
Regarding drug crimes, 131 cases were discovered and 172 subjects were arrested, 43.6 kg of heroin, nearly 1.5 kg of crystal meth, 1.3 kg of synthetic drugs were seized; 6 major drug trafficking and transportation lines were dismantled. Typically, in coordination with the C04 Department of the Ministry of Public Security, 5 subjects were arrested for illegally transporting drugs, 120 heroin cakes were seized. 13 traffic accidents occurred, killing 9 people, injuring 8 people; 12 cases of 68 gambling subjects were arrested, 850 million VND was seized.
Regarding inspection, complaint and denunciation settlement, all levels and sectors conducted 60 socio-economic inspections at 130 units, discovering 17/30 units with violations with a total amount of over 2.3 billion VND. Conducted 45 specialized inspections on 136 organizations and 616 individuals, mainly focusing on areas such as transportation, industry and trade, science and technology, natural resources and environment, etc.

Regarding work in September, the conference identified a number of key contents, which are to grasp the situation, coordinate between functional agencies and districts, cities and towns to strengthen security in all areas, especially religious security and rural security. Continue to direct and have plans to solve complicated issues, not to let hot spots arise, especially during the September 2nd holiday.
Strengthening propaganda and crime warning work, crime prevention and control work, launching campaigns to crack down on crimes, especially drug crimes, human trafficking, intentional injury, sexual assault crimes... Focusing on resolving cases and cases that have been directed by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and reporting specific progress and results of resolution.
