At the meeting, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province Tran Van Mao announced the expected program and content of the 5th session of the 14th National Assembly, scheduled to open on May 21.

Next, the Chairman of the City Fatherland Front Committee reported on the synthesis of opinions and recommendations of voters and people in the city sent to the National Assembly, including 10 major issues.

At the conference, voters of Hung Dung ward reflected on many key issues under the authority and responsibility of the Central Government. Voter Dinh Thi Hieu Hanh (Middle East bloc) said that, in addition to being more determined in the fight against corruption, she suggested that the Party, National Assembly, and Government take measures to thoroughly recover corrupt assets to avoid loss.

Voter Nguyen Thi Hien (Trung Tien bloc) expressed concern when the National Assembly asked for opinions on imposing a 45% tax on assets whose origin cannot be proven, which is inappropriate, because if this policy is applied, the State will invisibly recognize illegal assets as legal, so it is necessary to recover these assets.

At the end of the meeting, State Auditor General Ho Duc Phoc fully received the opinions and feedback of voters and affirmed that the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will synthesize and send them to all levels and sectors for resolution according to their authority.

Delegate Ho Duc Phoc also explained many contents under the authority and responsibility of the Central Government. Explaining the opinion of voter Nguyen Trung Huyen (Xuan Trung block), the State Auditor General said that the Law on Protection of People's Health was issued by the National Assembly in 1989, but there are currently many shortcomings in practice that have not been amended and supplemented in a timely manner. The provincial National Assembly delegation accepted and reported to the National Assembly Standing Committee for further study.

Agreeing with voters' recommendations on increasing penalties for organizations and individuals violating food safety and hygiene, State Auditor General Ho Duc Phoc said that, in parallel, it is necessary to strengthen measures to educate about culture, ethics, and the spirit of goodness; educate the awareness of production and business, first of all, for one's family to use and eat.

The State Auditor General also explained many issues of concern to voters related to the National Assembly's supervisory activities, such as the need to strengthen supervision of law enforcement by organizations and individuals and delve into each specific case; innovate the work of National Assembly deputies in meeting voters; promote the role of the people in Party building; strengthen education on ethics, self-awareness, and self-respect for officials to limit corruption and degeneration of officials...
