Promoting the building of a cohesive, resilient, inclusive and people-oriented ASEAN community
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial People's Committee issued Plan 240/KH-UBND (April 15, 2022) to promote and advertise ASEAN for the period 2022 - 2025.
Pursuant to Decision No. 1160/QD-TTg dated July 13, 2021 of the Prime Minister approving the Government's Action Program on ASEAN propaganda and promotion; Decision No. 161/QD-TTg dated January 25, 2016 of the Prime Minister approving the Project on Building and implementing the plan to implement the goals of the ASEAN socio-cultural community by 2025, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Plan 240/KH-UBND (dated April 15, 2022) to propagate and promote ASEAN for the period 2022-2025.
On that basis, all levels, sectors, localities, and press agencies in the province focused on propagating in many forms about important political and diplomatic activities; investment and business activities, ASEAN regional free trade agreements; human resource development, labor - employment; digital economy, digital transformation, education, environmental protection, sustainable development, sub-regional cooperation, cooperation in response and recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic of ASEAN and between Nghe An province and partners and countries in the region.

Strengthen communication about the practical benefits of ASEAN for people to understand and implement; promote ASEAN's common policies and agreements on all three pillars of the ASEAN community; promote practical stories, models and typical characters about the practical benefits that the ASEAN community brings to Vietnam in general and the business community and people of Nghe An province in particular.
Communication on Vietnam's participation in all three pillars of the ASEAN community: Political-security community: Proactive, active and responsible; Economic community: Promoting ASEAN's commitments, supporting an open, rules-based, inclusive and mutually beneficial multilateral trading system; Socio-cultural community: Promoting the building of a cohesive, self-reliant, inclusive and people-oriented ASEAN community, with people at the center in the spirit of leaving no one behind.
Emphasize the importance of ASEAN to Vietnam, affirm Vietnam's fundamental and long-term interests in building a more closely connected, united, unified ASEAN community with a leading role in the region. Communicate the formation process, benefits and results of building the ASEAN community (2015 - 2025); affirm the role and position of ASEAN, the achievements that ASEAN has achieved in the process of forming and developing the ASEAN community, towards an ASEAN community for people and people-centered.
At the same time, the media highlighted the position, role, contributions and imprints of Nghe An and Vietnam in the process of integration and participation in ASEAN, especially in the process of building a cohesive and proactively adaptive ASEAN community, playing a leading role in regional issues; clearly stating the potentials, strengths, opportunities and challenges of Vietnam when participating in the ASEAN community, the significance of these results for the lives of Vietnamese people in general and Nghe An in particular.
Propaganda work contributes to promoting and introducing the country, people, business opportunities, information on investment projects, investment promotion, tourism, culture, specialties... of Vietnam and Nghe An to ASEAN member countries and ASEAN partner countries; introducing the history, culture, life of people of ASEAN member countries, potentials, and strengths of cooperation that Vietnam in general and Nghe An in particular can exploit.
