To make Ha Tinh worthy of being the hometown of General Secretary Ha Huy Tap

(Baonghean.vn) - General Secretary Ha Huy Tap belongs to the first generation of communists, the core of the Party. Although his revolutionary activities were not long, Ha Huy Tap lived a vibrant and glorious revolutionary life; devoted his whole life to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation; leaving the Party valuable lessons in both theory and practice of revolutionary activities.

The Party Committee and people of Ha Tinh are determined to implement the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, contributing to the success of the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress.

General Secretary Ha Huy Tap (1906 -1941)

The 18th Congress of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term has identified the general goals as: “Enhancing the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee; promoting democracy and national solidarity; accelerating economic restructuring associated with growth model innovation; expanding integration; maximally mobilizing and effectively using resources; building a synchronous and gradually modern infrastructure; strongly developing industry and services, associated with high-tech, large-scale agriculture in the direction of industrialization and modernization; investing in cultural - social development and urban systems on par with economic development; protecting the environment, proactively responding to climate change; ensuring national defense - security, social order and safety; improving the material and spiritual life of the people; maintaining political stability; developing Ha Tinh faster and more sustainably in the direction of modern industry”.

The Congress Resolution has set out three breakthroughs: (1) Diversifying the mobilization of investment resources for infrastructure development; building Vung Ang Economic Zone to soon become a national and international dynamic economic zone; rapidly developing heavy industry, mechanical engineering, industry serving agriculture and supporting industry. (2) Synchronously implementing administrative reforms; improving the quality of human resources; prioritizing investment resources for science and technology development, meeting the requirements of comprehensive development. (3) Investing in developing modern and civilized urban areas associated with new rural construction; developing trade and tourism services on the basis of promoting the potential and advantages of the province and linking regions, inter-regions and areas.

To develop Ha Tinh faster and more sustainably in the direction of modern industry, worthy of being the hometown of General Secretary Ha Huy Tap, the Party Committee and people of Ha Tinh are focusing on effectively implementing 9 key tasks:

(1) Continue to build, review, and supplement plans to meet sustainable development requirements. Invest in synchronous and gradually modern socio-economic infrastructure; develop urban systems and industrial parks, industrial clusters, and small-scale industries.

(2) Actively promote economic restructuring associated with growth model innovation, improving the quality, efficiency and competitiveness of the economy. Shift the economic structure towards rapidly increasing the proportion of industry and services.

(3) Promote socialization and prioritize investment resources for cultural and social development on par with economic development.

(4) Closely combine socio-economic development with strengthening national defense and security, building a strong and comprehensive national defense and people's security posture, ensuring social security, order and safety. Improve the quality and effectiveness of law enforcement; implement and reform the judiciary; actively fight against corruption and waste; promptly and legally resolve complaints and denunciations.

(5.) Strengthen and innovate political and ideological work; raise awareness of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life.

(6) Continue to build and consolidate a clean and strong Party organization; perfect the organizational apparatus; improve the quality of cadres and Party members.

(7) Strengthening the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline work.

(8) Improve the quality of mass mobilization work of the political system; gather, motivate and organize union members, association members and people of all walks of life to perform their tasks well.

(9) Innovate the methods of direction, management and operation of authorities at all levels; promote administrative reform, promote democracy, and strengthen discipline and order.

The 110th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Ha Huy Tap (April 24, 1906 - April 24, 2016) is an opportunity for us to review his life, his example of struggle, sacrifice and great contributions to the revolutionary cause of our Party and people. This is also an opportunity for us to better understand the revolutionary tradition and achievements in all fields of our homeland Ha Tinh. Following the example of General Secretary Ha Huy Tap, promoting patriotism and revolutionary heroism; our entire Party, people and army strive to promote patriotic emulation movements, successfully achieving the goal of a rich people, a strong country, democracy, equality, civilization, and steadily moving towards socialism.
