The Central Inspection Commission proposed that the Politburo consider and take disciplinary action against comrade Nguyen Van Binh - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Economic Commission.

November 3,Central Inspection Commissionissued a notice on the 49th session.

Recently, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Commission held its 49th meeting. Comrade Tran Cam Tu - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission chaired the meeting. At this meeting, the Central Inspection Commission reviewed and concluded the following contents.

1. After reviewing the results of the investigation and verification of the content of the reflection related to comrade Nguyen Van Binh - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Economic Commission, the Central Inspection Commission found that:

During his tenure as a member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Governor of the State Bank, comrade Nguyen Van Binh violated the principle of democratic centralism and the Working Regulations; lacked responsibility, slackened leadership, direction, and inspection and supervision, allowing many violations and shortcomings in the issuance and implementation of a number of resolutions, regulations, and decisions on banking credit activities, causing very serious and difficult-to-overcome consequences; many officials, party members of the State Bank and key leaders of a number of credit institutions who violated the law were criminally prosecuted.

The violations and shortcomings of comrade Nguyen Van Binh are serious, causing outrage in society, negatively affecting the reputation of the Party organization, the State Bank and the comrade himself. Based on the content, nature, extent, consequences of the violations and the Party's regulations on disciplinary action against party members, the Central Inspection Committee proposes that the Politburo consider and take disciplinary action against comrade Nguyen Van Binh.

2. After reviewing the responsibilities related to violations in the management and use of the land plot at 2-4-6 Hai Ba Trung, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City; based on the Party's regulations on disciplinary action against Party members, the Central Inspection Committee proposed that the Secretariat consider and implement disciplinary action to expel from the Party comrade Ho Thi Kim Thoa, former member of the Party Executive Committee, former Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade.

Comrade Vu Huy Hoang, former member of the Party Central Committee, during his tenure as Minister of Industry and Trade, committed very serious violations and shortcomings, to the extent that he was expelled from the Party. However, because he is suffering from a serious illness, disciplinary action has not been considered according to regulations.

3. After reviewing the results of the inspection of the implementation of inspection, supervision and disciplinary tasks within the Party for the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Inspection Committee of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee; the results of the supervision of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Secretary of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee; the Party Executive Committee and the Secretary of the Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises on leadership, direction, implementation of the Working Regulations, personnel work, implementation of political tasks and exemplary responsibilities, the Central Inspection Committee requests the above-mentioned inspected and supervised party organizations and party members to promote their strengths, seriously review, learn from experience and promptly overcome the limitations and shortcomings that have been pointed out.

4. Also at this session, the Central Inspection Committee reviewed and resolved complaints regarding a number of cases and decided on a number of other important issues./.
