At the Vinh University exam site, candidate Nguyen Duc Nhat - former student of Le Hong Phong High School (Hung Nguyen) said: "Of the 50 multiple choice questions, question 30 onwards were relatively difficult. However, the questions still adhered to basic knowledge, I assessed myself as getting nearly 80% correct."

At the Nghe An Continuing Education Center, many candidates left the exam room to heatedly debate the Physics exam. Most candidates commented that the Physics exam had a high level of discrimination between students taking the graduation exam and those taking the university entrance exam.

Candidate Nguyen Quang Huy - former student of Le Viet Thuat High School (Vinh City) said: "The exam was not too difficult but it was not easy to get a score of 7 or 8. The structure of the exam was similar to last year's exam, with about 30 easy questions and 15 difficult questions, not many of which were in the electricity section but in the wave section and other sections."

Sharing Huy's opinion, candidate Doan Quang Duy - former student of Hoang Mai High School (Hoang Mai Town) said that the exam had many exercises on waves and knowledge spread from grade 10 to grade 12, requiring candidates to have comprehensive knowledge to get high scores. There were about 10 difficult questions for good and excellent students to get points. With his good academic ability, Duy confidently did the test and got 8 points.
Giving a quick assessment of this year's Physics exam, teacher Nguyen Thi Xuan Bang - Vice Principal of Quynh Luu 1 High School, an experienced Physics teacher, said: "I won't discuss the easy questions, but as for the classification questions, I personally think that although the questions are difficult, requiring candidates to perform many calculations, they are not as good as last year's exam. Last year's exam had many strange questions, "trapping" students more...".
According to a quick report from two exam clusters in the province, the whole province had 154 candidates absent from the Physics exam, of which the exam cluster chaired by Vinh University had 147 absent candidates, and the local exam cluster had 7 absent candidates.
