Proposal to build a modern youth football training academy in Nghe An

On July 20, the Supervisory Delegation of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education, led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Hoa - Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education, had a working session with Song Lam Nghe An Sports Joint Stock Company and Song Lam Nghe An Football Club.

Also attending was comrade Thai Thi An Chung - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

At the meeting, Song Lam Nghe An Sports Joint Stock Company quickly reported on the achievements and shortcomings in youth football training. Accordingly, Song Lam Nghe An Football Club has had advantages such as: building "satellite" training classes at the district level, thereby creating resources for the Club from the grassroots level.

In addition, every year, Nghe An Newspaper cooperates with Song Lam Nghe An Club, Department of Culture, Sports, Department of Education and Training to organize the Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth Football Tournament - this is considered a useful playground, and creates a great source for the Club. In the 2022 Football Tournament, the Club selected 50 young players for training.

In addition, the Club organizes annual inspections to review the quality of output and input. Special attention is paid to nutrition, under the supervision of a nutritionist.

Besides the achievements, Song Lam Nghe An Football Club also faces some limitations such as: lack of modern facilities, lack of training grounds, lack of accommodation, lack of conditions for studying, living and entertainment for resident athletes.

Song Lam Nghe An Sports Joint Stock Company proposed that the Supervisory Delegation pay attention to building the North Central Sports Complex in Nghe An province, thereby building a youth football training academy according to the most advanced model today; instructing clubs across the country to apply scientific and professional training and management methods suitable for the development of modern football.

Also at the meeting, members of the Supervisory Delegation made some suggestions on focusing on foreign language training for players, because this is a very necessary tool in a professional, modern football environment, aiming at regional and world playgrounds; Educating life skills, moral ideology; Paying attention to cultural studies for players.

At the end of the working session, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education Nguyen Thi Mai Hoa expressed her great impression of the achievements of Song Lam Nghe An Football Club. Although there are still many difficulties, Nghe An's way of doing football is very methodical, responsible, professional and scientific. Notably, Song Lam Nghe An Football Club has built a harmony between the mass sports movement and elite sports.

In the coming time, the Supervisory Board hopes that Song Lam Nghe An Sports Joint Stock Company and Song Lam Nghe An Football Club will pay attention to training to have excellent generations of players, helping Song Lam Nghe An Football continue to affirm its brand. Along with training sports skills, it is necessary to pay attention to teaching culture, career guidance, helping players have a solid and stable foundation after leaving the field. In addition, it is necessary to increase socialization to improve material facilities, serving better quality training.

Regarding the recommendations, the Supervisory Delegation of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education acknowledged and accepted the units' contributions, constructions and proposals to advise the Government, the National Assembly, and relevant ministries and branches.
