Song Dong Ngoc Nu Temple (Tan Ky) is ranked as a provincial historical relic.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 24, in Nghia Hop commune, Tan Ky district, the Tran family held a ceremony to receive the certificate of ranking as a provincial historical and cultural relic for Song Dong Ngoc Nu temple.

Attending were representatives of the Department of Culture and Sports,Relic Management Board, Tan Ky District People's Committee, Tran family members and many people from Nghia Hop commune.
Song Dong Ngoc Nu Temple is one of the sacred temples of Tan Ky district, the temple worships the daughter of Tran Dac Tien, the 5th generation descendant of the Tran family in Tri Le village, Duong Hap commune, Cu Lam canton, Nghia Duong district, Quy Chau prefecture (now Nghia Hop and Nghia Dong communes, Tan Ky district).
During the Later Le Dynasty, the temple was officially built; during the Tu Duc Dynasty, the Ly Truong made a request; in 1851, the Nguyen Dynasty officially issued the decree "Two Thanh Hoang Song Dong Ngoc Nu".

During the war, the temple was located right next to Sen Ferry, a vital traffic route serving the Southern battlefield, so it was repeatedly destroyed by American bombs; later, the people of Nghia Hop commune and descendants of the Tran family contributed to restore and embellish it as it is today.
To contribute to preserving the cultural values of the relic, descendants of the Tran family, people of Nghia Hop commune and Tan Ky district have collected evidence and relics to propose the Provincial People's Committee to recognize.
Based on the review, in 2017, the Provincial People's Committee decided to rank and recognize Song Dong Ngoc Nu Temple, Nghia Hop Commune as a provincial historical and cultural relic.
