Going fishing, 3 sisters drowned in a deep pond

Three sisters went fishing together and slipped and fell into a deep pond and died.

On the morning of June 25, news from Dak Ha Commune Police, Dak G'long District (Dak Nong) said that a drowning incident had just occurred in the locality, causing the tragic death of 3 sisters.

The three victims were Nguyen Thi Le (born 2005), Nguyen Danh Hoan (born 2007) and Tran Duy Nguyen (born 2007, all residing in Dak Ha commune). Le and Hoan are biological sisters; Nguyen is a cousin.

Accordingly, at noon on June 24, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa came home from work and did not see her children Le and Hoan at home, so she rushed out to look for them. Asking the neighbors, Ms. Hoa learned that her children had invited Nguyen to go fishing.

When she reached the pond about 200 meters from her house, Ms. Hoa discovered her children's clothes and sandals lying on the shore. Ms. Hoa called for help from the locals. When they got to the pond, they recovered the bodies of Le, Hoan, and Nguyen, who had died at the bottom of the pond.

Initially, authorities determined that the three children Le, Hoan, and Nguyen had gone fishing together in the pond. While fishing, one child slipped and fell into the pond, and the other children went to save him but all drowned.

The pond where the incident happened was about 3 meters deep and had high walls. When the children fell in, they couldn't get up and tragically drowned.
