After returning from the holiday, the daughter knocked on her mother's door but got no answer. When she entered the house, she found her mother dead, hanging.

On the evening of April 30 and early morning of May 1, the daughter of Ms. Thach Thi Xa Guon (40 years old, living in Soc Trang) went out to her rented room in Ong Dong hamlet, Tan Hiep commune, Tan Uyen town (Binh Duong).

Knocking on the door repeatedly but not seeing her mother open the door, suspecting something was wrong, the girl tried to break the door into the house and discovered Ms. Guon dead, hanging in the attic.

According to Ms. Guon’s neighbors, the victim lived a reclusive life and rented a room locally with her daughter for nearly a year. Recently, they did not see Ms. Guon showing any signs of psychological abnormalities.

The incident is being investigated by the authorities.
