At the exam site of Le Viet Thuat High School - one of the exam councils with a very high competition rate (68%), student Dau Huyen Dieu (Dang Thai Mai Secondary School) said: This year's exam is easier than the mock exam at school and not more difficult than previous years. However, I found that the exam has quite a lot of new words. Therefore, if you do not have a rich vocabulary, it will be difficult to find the answer. Many words must be researched and accumulated by students during the learning and practicing process. However, I am still satisfied with this exam and did well because the knowledge is in the textbook program.

Teacher Phan Viet Hang - English teacher at Tra Lan Secondary School, Con Cuong District said: With this topic, if students only study at an average level, they will be "shocked" because the vocabulary is quite difficult. Students often have the habit of having to translate sentences, vocabulary must be familiar for them to feel easy, if it is difficult, they will be discouraged, even if the grammatical phenomena in the sentence can be done.
Compared to last year's exam, this year's exam is more difficult and has a higher classification. The good point of the exam is the clear segmentation. With this exam, average students can do 20-25 questions, equivalent to 4-5 points. To get a score of 9, students must be really good, have a wide vocabulary and not have many 10 points, especially for students in mountainous areas.
At the exam site of Nguyen Sy Sach High School, Thanh Duong commune (Thanh Chuong) There were 531 candidates taking the exam in 23 exam rooms. At the end of the second exam session, many students walked out of the exam site in an unhappy mood.

Commenting on the English exam, teacher Nguyen Thanh Giang - Teacher at Bach Lieu Secondary School, Yen Thanh said:
The English exam closely follows the exam review guide structure, closely follows the learned program, is highly classified, and has all four levels. Compared to previous years' exams, the exam is more difficult but not much, and I believe that this exam will have many candidates with good scores.
Specifically, candidates can easily get points in the recognition and comprehension sections, focusing on stress, pronunciation and phonetics.
The vocabulary and grammar test has some difficult 10-point questions, focusing on idioms or phrases.
In the reading comprehension section, choose answers A, B, C, D, there are two topics, the topic about Covid - 19 is more difficult, requiring students to have rich knowledge and vocabulary.
The second reading passage about rural and urban life is quite suitable for students and they do this type of question quite often.
Candidates who score 10, in addition to having broad knowledge and solid grammar, must be careful when doing the test because there will be questions that seem easy but can easily confuse students.
At the end of the first day of the exam, the whole province had 67 absent candidates, no candidates violated the exam regulations, and no unusual incidents occurred. Covid-19 epidemic prevention work was strictly implemented according to the instructions. The two exams took place normally, safely, seriously, and in accordance with the regulations.
