Dien Chau: 3 cases of poultry and animal products of unknown origin were caught
(Baonghean.vn) - These were cases of transporting stinking cow feet and pig feet without quarantine papers, along with hundreds of poultry of unknown origin.
Accordingly, at 8:30 a.m. on October 29, on National Highway 1A, through Dien Chau district, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station discovered a passenger car with license plate 18B.00348, driven by Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh from Hai Ha, Hai Hau, Nam Dinh, carrying 7 foam boxes containing 550 kg of tamarind beef feet, which had been pre-processed but gave off a foul odor. The driver could not present quarantine documents.

Previously, on October 28, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station also seized 118kg of pre-processed pig feet, transported on a passenger bus, driven by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Oanh, residing in Da Lat, Lam Dong.

In addition, on October 26, the Station also caught a case of transporting 10 foam boxes containing 800 poultry without quarantine papers.
All animal and poultry products have been delivered to Dien Chau Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station for destruction according to regulations.
