Dien Chau elects new Chairman of District People's Committee
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 12, the People's Council of Dien Chau district held its 7th session - Term 19, term 2016-2021. The session dismissed and elected the positions of Chairman of the People's Council and People's Committee of the district. Comrade Cao Thi Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council attended the meeting.

The meeting approved the Proposal to dismiss the position of Chairman of the District People's Council for comrade Tran Van Cuong - former Secretary of the District Party Committee who retired according to the regime; to dismiss the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee for comrade Chu The Huyen, who was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the District Party Committee.
The District People's Council also elected additional positions: Chairman of the District People's Council, Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 19th term, 2016-2021 term. Accordingly, comrade Chu The Huyen - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Dien Chau District Party Committee was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Council for the 19th term, 2016-2021 term; comrade Tang Van Luyen - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee for the 19th term, 2016-2021 term.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Tang Van Luyen - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee; Chairman of the District People's Committee, on behalf of the elected comrades, expressed his determination to excellently complete the assigned tasks, together with the Party Committee and the government to achieve early the socio-economic, national defense and security targets set by the District Party Congress for the 2015-2020 term.
