Dien Ngoc is the commune with the largest number of shrimp fishing boats in Dien Chau with 120 boats. These days, on average, this fleet catches 8-10 tons of shrimp per day, bringing in a value of 25-30 million VND/day.

Shrimp is abundant in Dien Chau waters. Recently, many fishermen have boldly invested in shrimp exploitation. The output is purchased by traders right at the wharf after each fishing trip.
