Currently,Nghe An Electricity Companyhas been effectively applying science and technology to all activities, bringing clear efficiency in production and business, contributing to improving labor productivity and reducing costs.

The company has introduced many modern equipment and technologies into management and operation.electrical systemTypically, 10/15 of the Company's 110 kV substations are remotely monitored and controlled (it is expected that by the end of 2021, 15/15 110 kV substations will be remotely monitored and controlled), thereby reducing the number of on-duty operators; applying drones to check fault lines; applying artificial intelligence in customer care and hotline electrical repairs (electrical repairs on lines carrying loads) to minimize customers' power outage time.

OMS power outage management applications, SCADA/EMS/MMS software, online electricity service registration, digitalization of electricity purchase contracts, cashless electricity payment, connection to public administration centers, online public service information portals... ensure publicity and transparency as well as facilitate customers in accessing electricity services, bringing high efficiency.

Up to now, 100% of the affiliated units have used the E-Office system to handle work. The company has also implemented digital signature of electronic documents in the unit with the current result that 100% of the documents in the unit are circulated electronically.

Create efficiency in production and business

The strong application of science and technology has contributed significantly to the modernization and improvement of the Company's production and business activities, meeting the increasing demands of electricity customers.

This result is clearly demonstrated through figures such as: The total power loss rate of the Company in the first 8 months of 2021 is 8.59%, -0.42% lower than the same period last year. High-tech electrical repair work Hotline in the first 8 months of 2021 has carried out 331 working sessions, estimated to reduce 741 hours of power outage time for customers. Labor productivity is constantly improving, in 2016 it was 1.92 million kWh/worker, by 2020 it reached 2.673 million kWh/worker and in 2021 it is expected to reach 2.91 million kWh/worker.

In the context of the economic situation of the whole country in general and Nghe An province in particular facing many difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, along with increasingly severe climate change, severely affecting all economic - social activities and people's lives, ensuring safe and stable electricity supply for economic development and improving people's lives is extremely necessary.
