Phones coming soon with 256 GB storage

Samsung has just introduced flash memory with capacity up to 256GB, for high-end mobile devices.

Currently, the internal memory of the most advanced mobile devices on the market only has a maximum capacity of 128GB if not counting the included memory card. Flash memorySamsung's new SSD, in addition to having a capacity of up to 256GB, also uses the UFS standard, which is twice as fast as the SATA SSD standard on computers and three times faster than the best MicroSD memory card on the market today.

With the new flash memory, users can watch 4K resolution movies while performing other tasks using the smartphone's split screen feature. However, we will have to wait until Samsung's new Galaxy smartphone generation or the new iPhone 7 to be equipped with this flash memory.
