(Baonghean.vn) - The leader of Nam Dan District Police said that they are currently investigating the case of an 11th grade male student, NCT (17 years old), residing in Hamlet 5, Xuan Lam Commune, who was beaten to death.
According to information, earlier, on the evening of June 7, NCT went out for a drink with his twin brother and some friends in Kim Lien commune when a group of young men carrying weapons entered the shop and beat them up.
That same night, T. was taken by his family to Nghe An General Friendship Hospital for emergency treatment.

On the night of June 12 and early morning of June 13, T.'s family transferred him to Viet Duc Hospital (Hanoi). However, the hospital announced that his injuries were too severe to be treated and advised the family to take him home. By early morning of June 14, T. had died.
After the incident, T.'s family submitted a petition to the authorities requesting an investigation to clarify the group of young men who assaulted them.
It is known that NCT is the child of Mr. Nguyen Hong Tan and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thuy, residing in Hamlet 5, Xuan Lam Commune, Nam Dan District. The family has 4 siblings, the eldest sister is 29 years old and has an intellectual disability. T. is an 11th grade student at the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education of Nam Dan District.
