In early September, at the rural markets in Quynh Luu district, Nghe An, it was not difficult to record images of Chinese toys of Chinese origin being sold everywhere, overwhelming Vietnamese goods.

In communes such as Son Hai, An Hoa, Quynh Van, Quynh My, Quynh Hau, Cau Giat town in Quynh Luu district, many children's toys of unknown origin are still sold everywhere from markets, to retail stores, even on the roadside.... Notably, among these toys, there are many types of high violence such as guns, swords, plastic sticks... Many parents still buy them for their children without thinking about the consequences for their children's health.

Traditional items such as lanterns, an indispensable toy for children during the Mid-Autumn Festival, have a variety of designs and prices this year. However, according to traders, they mainly buy Chinese lanterns and toys to sell because of their beautiful designs and prices 10-30% cheaper than Vietnamese goods.
