Gifu Province Delegation (Japan) begins working visit in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of May 22, a working delegation from Gifu province (Japan) led by Governor Hajime Furuta began a visit and work in Nghe An.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong presented flowers to welcome the visit of the Governor of Gifu and the working delegation.

Receiving and working with the delegation were comrades: Ho Duc Phoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, State Auditor General, Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and representatives of leaders of a number of relevant departments and branches.

At the reception, on behalf of the delegation, Mr. Hajime Furuta congratulated comrade Ho Duc Phoc on being elected to the new position, hoping that the State Auditor General of Vietnam will continue to pay attention to developing relations between Nghe An and Gifu provinces.

The Governor of Gifu emphasized that many Japanese enterprises are currently interested in learning about and considering investment opportunities in Nghe An province, especially in the fields of high-tech agriculture, auto parts manufacturing, etc., and expressed his desire to develop the Vietnamese community in Gifu, demonstrating the increasingly close friendship between the two provinces and the two countries.

State Auditor General Ho Duc Phoc hopes that the Gifu-Nghe An friendship will be increasingly strengthened.

Speaking at the reception, Comrade Ho Duc Phoc welcomed the visit of the Governor of Gifu and the members of the delegation, affirming that this is an opportunity to enhance understanding and strengthen friendship between the two sides. He believes that the existing potential of Nghe An, combined with the technological and technical advances of Gifu, will create a new step of development, bringing about a change in the appearance of Uncle Ho's homeland.

Comrade Ho Duc Phoc presented a souvenir of Tuyet San tea specialty to Governor Hajime Furuta.

During this working trip to Nghe An, the Gifu delegation will have a working session with provincial leaders and visit some agricultural models in the area.
