Nghe An province delegation participates in investment promotion activities in China

Joining the delegation were comrade Le Tien Tri - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board; leaders of the Department of Finance, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Construction, Provincial People's Committee Office and representatives of Nghe An Electricity Company, VSIP Nghe An Company Limited, WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An Joint Stock Company, Hoang Thinh Dat Joint Stock Company and Hop Luc Joint Stock Company.

Strengthening cooperation between provinces of Vietnam and China

During the series of activities in China, the delegation of Nghe An province participated in the 2025 Jiangsu Province (China) International Trade Conference with Nghe An Province (Vietnam). This event attracted the participation of the government and the Suzhou Industrial Park Development Promotion Association, along with representatives of associations and enterprises in Suzhou city.

At the conference, comrade Bui Thanh An and associations and enterprises discussed the mechanisms and policies of Vietnam in general and Nghe An in particular in logistics activities, e-commerce, solutions for industrial park development, the impact of tax policies in Vietnam and the world in the current context...

Also during the working trip, the Nghe An delegation participated in the Sichuan Province-Nghe An Province International Trade Conference in 2025 with the participation of Mr. Li Ming - Secretary of the Communist Party of China Branch of the Chengdu City Chamber of Commerce, Sichuan Province in Guangdong, along with 120 delegates from associations and enterprises in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Li Ming, representing the coordinating units and the Sichuan Provincial Industry Business Association, emphasized that: “Reaching out - Welcoming in” has always been one of the focuses of the association’s work. This conference aims to promote bilateral cooperation, calling on businesses to seize opportunities with the natural potential of Nghe An and Sichuan provinces to promote cooperation and investment development.

The delegation of Nghe An province and businesses discussed solutions for developing industrial park infrastructure, logistics, commercial banks, developing manufacturing industries, providing industrial development services, construction, etc. On that basis, there were proposals to establish focal points, strengthen cooperation activities, support connection work, and promote investment between Nghe An province and Tu Xuyen province to achieve more practical results.

At the Conference and direct activities on the sidelines of the Conference, many businesses affirmed their interest and plans to survey and learn about the investment environment in Nghe An in May 2025.

Nghe An commits to "5 readiness"

At the conferences, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An expressed his joy and gratitude to the leaders, local government officials, associations and enterprises of China for taking the time to receive the working delegation of Nghe An province and supporting the connection and companionship in organizing the Investment Promotion Conference in Nghe An province in 2025 in China.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also introduced the socio-economic development situation of Nghe An province, emphasizing the potentials and advantages of the province in fields such as agriculture, industry, energy, tourism and trade...

Comrade Bui Thanh An also informed about the investment attraction results of Nghe An province in the past time, in which, for 3 consecutive years (2022, 2023, 2024), Nghe An is one of the 10 localities in Vietnam with the largest foreign investment attraction results. With a favorable geographical location, increasingly complete infrastructure and attractive investment policies, Nghe An continues to become a destination attracting the attention of many foreign investors, including many Chinese investors.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his joy when directly visiting and working at the factory of investors in China, acknowledging the priority attention to speeding up the project implementation progress in Nghe An and listening to recommendations, proposals, grasping the plans and difficulties and problems of investors in the process of implementing the project.

In order to create trust for investors and businesses when researching and surveying investment in Nghe An province, the Management Board of Dong Nam Economic Zone signed a Memorandum of Understanding on investment cooperation with the Investment Promotion Department of Gian Duong city, Sichuan province (China).

Accordingly, the parties will strengthen investment promotion activities, attract investment projects with high added value, advanced technology, and environmental friendliness to Nghe An and Sichuan, contributing to strengthening the good relationship between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the People's Republic of China at the local level.

During the working trip, the delegation of Nghe An province visited production facilities and worked with investors who have invested in Nghe An in China such as: Radiant - Opto Electronics Group in Suzhou city and Sunny Optical Group in Yuyao city, Zhejiang province. These groups have invested in projects to produce electronic components and smart optical devices that have great value in social life in Nghe An.

During the working process, the investors thanked Nghe An province for its support in implementing the project, discussed some tax policies in the current period, and proposed that the provincial government pay attention to opening direct flights from Nghe An to China. At the same time, they continued to accompany businesses in recruiting workers...

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Bui Thanh An discussed solutions to accompany, support, and remove difficulties and obstacles for investors, and committed to always creating the best conditions for investors to implement the project.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Nghe An actively participates and accompanies investors for mutual development; in which, the province commits to "5 readiness", including: Ready planning, ready connecting infrastructure, ready clean land, ready human resources and ready to support administrative procedures to create the most favorable conditions for investors when coming to Nghe An.

The foreign affairs program of the Working Group has initially been highly appreciated by investors regarding the investment environment as well as the attention, support and companionship of local authorities during the implementation of the Project.

Also through conferences and working sessions with associations, businesses, and investors, it shows the important role of infrastructure investors and general construction contractors in connecting and promoting investment in the province effectively and practically.
