Working delegation and enterprises from provinces survey investment in industrial parks in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - Within the framework of the summary of the Socio-Economic Development Cooperation Program between Ho Chi Minh City and the North Central provinces and some coastal provinces of the Central and Northern regions, on the morning of March 24, the working delegation visited and surveyed industrial parks (IPs) in Nghe An.
Participating in the survey delegation, on the side of the delegation of Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces, there were representatives of the Center for Investment and Trade Promotion and a number of business associations.
On the side of Nghe An province, the delegation was hosted and led to visit and contact industrial parks in the area by Mr. Hoang Vinh Truong - Deputy Director of Nghe An Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center; representatives of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board and a number of related departments and branches.

The survey locations are VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park.1 and WHA Industrial Zone 1 Nghe An, the delegation listened to representatives of infrastructure investors introduce the investment attraction situation in industrial parks as well as ongoing infrastructure projects; preferential policies and investment attraction of Nghe An province.
At VSIP Nghe An 1 Industrial Park, a representative of VSIP Nghe An Company Limited said: The enterprise has basically completed the infrastructure of the first phase of the industrial park, about 226 hectares (including: 9 internal roads, lighting, water supply, drainage, wastewater treatment plant, fire protection station). The investor is implementing the investment in 3 roads of the second phase of the industrial park (142 hectares). For area C, 12 internal roads have been completed, the drainage system of phase 1A (37.38 hectares) and the leveling of phase 1B (45.44 hectares) is being implemented. The industrial park currently has 38 investors with 39 projects; there are 19 FDI investors, of which 10 are Taiwanese - Hong Kong - Chinese investors; 3 Japanese investors, 3 Singaporean investors, 2 Korean investors and 1 Swedish investor...
VSIP Nghe An Industrial, Urban and Service Park was established under Decision No. 10/2015/QD-TTg dated April 3, 2015 of the Prime Minister. The project is invested by VSIP Nghe An Company Limited (under VSIP Group) and was granted an Investment Certificate by the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board and officially started construction in September 2015. The project is implemented on a land area of 750 hectares, of which the land for industrial park construction is 367.6 hectares.

Based on the information provided bySoutheast Economic Zone Management Boardand the investors in the industrial park infrastructure provided, representatives of some working delegations from the provinces asked questions to find out, propose some needs and the ability to meet of the province, of the investors in the industrial park infrastructure business.

WHA Industrial Zone 1 Nghe An Industrial Park was approved by the Prime Minister in 2017 in Decision No. 681/QD-TTg dated May 22, 2017, with the goal of investing in the construction and business of industrial park infrastructure, high-tech industrial parks and urban areas. This is one of the key projects of Nghe An province. With a total project area of 1,850 hectares, upon completion, this will be a large industrial park with international standard infrastructure in the North Central region of Vietnam, connecting production, manufacturing and distribution centers to serve domestic and international markets.
Also within the framework of the Conference summarizing cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces, Nghe An province organized an exhibition to introduce typical products, OCOP products of the North Central, Central Coast and Northern provinces to connect trade and supply and demand of products.
