Delegation of outstanding people offering incense and flowers at Ho Chi Minh Square

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs organized a flower and incense offering ceremony at Ho Chi Minh Square, Vinh City.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Trong Dam - Deputy Minister of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Minh Thong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Bang Toan - Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs.

Also attending were 126 delegates who were war invalids, sick soldiers, and outstanding meritorious people in the province.

In a sacred and respectful atmosphere, the delegation offered a beautiful flower basket before the President Ho Chi Minh Monument, expressing their infinite gratitude and deep respect for the great ideology and extremely noble life of the genius leader of the Vietnamese revolution, Hero of national liberation, and outstanding cultural celebrity.

Before his spirit, the provincial leaders and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs promise to Uncle Ho that together with the whole people, we will do better in the movement "Repaying gratitude" in the coming time; vow to strive and practice following his revolutionary moral example; forever remember the merits of the martyrs who sacrificed for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; strive to do better in caring for people with meritorious services in the province, contributing to easing the pain of loss.

Also this morning (July 24), the Provincial People's Committee held a solemn rally to celebrate the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2017) to honor outstanding people and groups and individuals with many achievements in gratitude work.
