The Supervisory Delegation of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education worked in Nam Dan district.

On July 18, the Supervisory Delegation of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education, led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Hoa - Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education, had a working session with Nam Dan district on the implementation of legal policies in the fields under the Committee's management.

Accompanying the delegation were comrade Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; representatives of departments, branches and Nam Dan district.

Before working with Nam Dan district, the delegation conducted a field survey at Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, Chung Son Temple, and Hoanh Son Communal House. The delegation also visited and surveyed the implementation of Resolution No. 88/2014/QH13 and Resolution No. 51/2017/QH14 of the National Assembly on innovation of general education textbooks at Lang Sen Primary School.

Reporting to the Monitoring and Evaluation Team, in recent times, the implementation of legal policies in the monitoring fields of Education - Training; Culture, Sports, Tourism, Information - Communication; Belief - Religion; Youth and Children has been promptly deployed by Nam Dan district through the issuance of legal documents on cultural and social fields, with many investment policies for cultural and social fields. The quality of education and training has changed a lot; maintaining, sustaining and gradually improving the quality of universal education at all levels.

Nam Dan district is a locality with a rich history, culture and revolution. Currently, in the whole district, there are 173 inventoried relics, distributed evenly across 19 communes and towns (of which, up to now, the whole district has 41 ranked relics, including 3 special national relics, 13 national relics and 25 provincial relics). There are 19 types of intangible cultural heritage that have been inventoried. The district People's Committee has decentralized and organized the management of ranked historical relics. Culture is concerned with the connection to develop tourism; the restoration and preservation of historical relics is concerned. People practice a civilized lifestyle in weddings and funerals.

Regarding the field of culture, sports and tourism, currently, in Nam Dan district there are many degraded historical relics, such as: Hoanh Son Communal House, Trung Can Communal House, Giap Ca Temple, Cau Temple... Therefore, it is recommended that the Central Government have a mechanism to support the district with funds to restore and embellish, especially Hoanh Son Communal House, so that the Hoanh Son Communal House relic as well as the surrounding area become a unique tourist and sightseeing destination in the district, contributing to the successful implementation of the project to build Nam Dan district into a model New Rural District in the direction of cultural development associated with tourism.

Nam Dan district also proposed to have allowances for collaborators in blocks and hamlets; annually support funding for propaganda work for Child Protection, Care and Education.

Appreciating Nam Dan's efforts in implementing the Party and State's policies and guidelines on the fields under supervision, the supervision delegation of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education acknowledged and accepted the contributions, constructive comments and proposals of Nam Dan district to report to the National Assembly Standing Committee for consideration, supplementation and amendment of policy mechanisms in accordance with reality.
