National Assembly supervision delegation and provincial leaders offer incense at Truong Bon National Historical Relic Site

(Baonghean.vn)- On the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year 2017 and the 87th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, on the afternoon of January 17, the National Assembly's Supervisory Delegation led by Comrade Phan Xuan Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Science, Technology and Environment, visited and offered flowers and incense at the Truong Bon National Historical Site and the Vietnam - Laos International Cemetery in Do Luong district.

Also going to Nghe An province were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; Leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial Military Command, Provincial Party Committee Office, Standing Provincial Youth Union; Leaders of the Standing District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Do Luong district.

At Truong Bon Historical Site, delegates respectfully offered gifts and fresh flowers, lit incense sticks to commemorate and express their respect, admiration and deep gratitude to the heroes who "died for the Fatherland".

Next, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the province led by comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and the delegation of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Do Luong district came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Vietnam - Laos Martyrs' Cemetery, Do Luong district.

This is the resting place of nearly 11,000 martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people, for socialism, and for the friendship between the two brotherly countries of Vietnam and Laos.

To be worthy of the heroic sacrifices of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and independence and freedom of the Fatherland, the Party Committee, Government, people and armed forces of Nghe An province vow to unite and strive even more for Nghe An province to develop more comprehensively.
